What we check
When you upload, we check that the PDF has exactly 26 or 50 single pages (not spreads), each A5 with 3 mm of bleed on every side and no printer's marks, that every font is in the file and that nothing is see-through.
RGB or CMYK is fine: your colours are converted for the printer when your book is made. Image resolution is not checked: place each photo at 300 ppi at the size it prints.
Your book opens on pages 1 and 2 side by side, so page 1 is a left-hand page. Keep faces and words 5 mm inside the trim, and 10 mm from the spine edge: the right edge of odd pages, the left edge of even pages.
