✦ Tru Photo Books
Wedding photobook in Egypt: your wedding in a hardcover book
The photographer sends hundreds of files, and then they sit in a folder. A Tru Photo Book puts the day in order, on paper, in a book that stays on the shelf.
In short
A Tru wedding photobook is made from your own wedding photos, from your photographer’s files or your own: an A5 hardcover (14.8 × 21 cm), case-bound, with 26 or 50 pages of 200 gsm archival matte paper, printed and bound in Cairo. It works for a wedding, a katb ketab or an engagement, and it also makes a gift from family to the couple. Books are delivered across Egypt or picked up at a Tru booth; to order, message Tru Booth on WhatsApp.
A wedding album you will actually open
Wedding photos have never been easier to take or harder to look at. They live in a shared folder, on two phones and in a link from the photographer that expires. A printed book is the one copy that is always there, and the one your family will reach for.
A Tru Photo Book is a compact A5 hardcover. It is not a heavy studio album that lives in a box: it is small enough to hand around at a family lunch and made to last on the shelf, on 200 gsm archival matte paper, case-bound and printed in Cairo.
Which photos go in a wedding photobook
You can use any photos you have the files for. Most wedding books mix a few sources.
- Your photographer’s files
- Ask for the full-resolution files, not the web-size previews or the photos posted online.
- Your own and your guests’ phones
- The candid moments the photographer missed: the cousins, the table, the end of the night. Ask guests for originals.
- Your photo booth strips
- If you had a Tru booth, the strips from the night belong in the book too, guests and all.
- The katb ketab and the engagement
- One book can hold the whole story, from the engagement to the wedding night, or each can have its own.
Telling the day in order
A wedding book reads best in the order the day happened. A simple running order:
Getting ready
The dress, the suit, the details, the people in the room.
The katb ketab
The signing, the families, the first photos as a married couple.
The zaffa and the entrance
The moment the night begins.
The couple
The portraits: give one or two a full page each.
Family and friends
The group photos, then the candid ones.
The party
The dancing, the booth, the last song.
26 or 50 pages for a wedding?
| 26 pages | 50 pages | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | A tight edit of the day | The whole story, katb ketab to the last dance |
| Photos, roughly | about 40 to 60 | about 80 to 120 |
| Good as | A gift for parents, or a second copy | The couple’s own book |
Wedding photobook questions
Can I use my photographer’s photos?
Yes. Ask your photographer for the full-resolution files and send them to us. Any photos you have the files for can go in the book.
Can I mix photographer photos and phone photos?
Yes. Most wedding books mix the photographer’s portraits with candid phone photos from the couple and the guests. Send originals, not WhatsApp-forwarded copies.
Can one book hold the engagement, katb ketab and wedding?

A5 hardcover, 14.8 × 21 cm, with 26 or 50 pages of 200 gsm archival matte paper. Extra pages can be added in blocks of four.
