In short

This photo booth FAQ answers the questions Tru Booth hears most often. Tru Booth rents photo booths from Cairo, working across Greater Cairo and Giza, the North Coast and El Gouna. A standard booking covers up to 4 hours or 216 prints, whichever comes first, with a custom strip design and an on-site attendant included. To book, message +20 102 138 4170 on WhatsApp or send the inquiry form.

If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp. We reply there, and we would rather confirm a detail for your event than guess it.

Booking and photo booth prices

How do I book a photo booth with Tru Booth?

Message us on WhatsApp at +20 102 138 4170 or send the inquiry form on the contact page. We reply on WhatsApp to confirm your date, your booth and your quote.

How much does a photo booth cost?

Each event gets its own quote, based on the booth, the session and prints, any add-ons, the location and the date. Send us those details and we reply with a clear quote.

What does a standard booking include?

Up to 4 hours or 216 prints, whichever comes first, plus a custom strip design, an on-site attendant, setup and testing before doors open, and teardown.

Can we add more prints?

Yes. Extra prints come in packs of 108, which you can add to your booking.

How early should we book?

As soon as your date and venue are set. Message us and we confirm whether the booth is free on your date.

The booth, space and power

What is the difference between the closed and the open booth?

The Closed Photobooth is enclosed and private, in The Black or The Red. The Open Photobooth has no walls, with a pro camera, studio light, touchscreen and printer, so a big group fits.

Should we choose The Black or The Red?

Both are the same closed booth on the same package. The Black is matte black, made for black-tie nights; The Red is loud on purpose and impossible to walk past.

How much space does a photo booth need?

About 2 × 2 metres of floor and about 2 metres of height, in a visible spot where guests pass. We also need access before doors open to set up.

Does the booth need Wi-Fi or special power?

No Wi-Fi: the booth runs fully offline. It needs one power outlet.

Who runs the booth during the event?

A Tru attendant, for the whole session. They set up and test before doors open, guide guests through the booth and pack everything away at the end.

Is the guest screen in Arabic?

Yes. The screen guides guests in Arabic or English.

Prints and strip design

How fast do the prints come out?

Within seconds of each session. Guests have the strip in hand before the next song.

What size are the prints?

Strips are printed on 4 × 6 inch photo paper, two strips to a sheet, then cut. We print on a dye-sublimation photo printer.

How many photos are on a strip?

The classic strip has four frames. We also design three-frame strips.

Can the strip carry our names or logo?

Yes. Every booking includes a custom design with your names, date and colours, or your logo or monogram.

Can you design something more unusual?

On request we create bespoke concept designs, which can use AI-rendered artwork.

Video messages and photobooks

What is The Truth Room?

It is our video messages add-on. Guests record short, raw messages inside the booth, and it can be added to a booking.

When do we receive the video messages?

Within a week. Every clip, raw and uncut, is delivered to a private cloud folder.

What is a Tru photobook?

An A5 hardcover book (14.8 × 21 cm) with 26 or 50 pages of 200 gsm archival matte paper, printed and bound in Cairo.

How do we get the photobook?

We deliver it anywhere in Egypt, or you can pick it up at a Tru booth.

Venues and travel

Which areas do you cover?

Greater Cairo (including New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October) and Giza, the North Coast and El Gouna. Other cities are on request.

Do you charge for travel outside Cairo?

Quotes for events outside Cairo include transport, so the quote you receive already covers it.

Where can I see the booth in person?

At our residencies: Majarrah Mall in Sheikh Zayed (permanent) and Seashell Hill Walk on the North Coast (seasonal, in summer). Walk-up guests pay per print.

Can our mall or venue have a permanent booth?

Yes. We run permanent and seasonal booths on site, on a revenue share or a fixed fee discussed on request. Your venue name can be on every strip.

Tell us about the night.

Send your date and venue. We reply on WhatsApp with availability, booth options and a quote.
